Battleships

It has been a bit mad with parties and teaching this last week or so so it has been a while since my past post! Catching up a bit this evening!

In the meantime I found a great find in a charity shop on Friday in Stratford - a game of Battleships! With Joplin's love of maps and grid referencing it seemed an obvious game for him and yes he loves it!
It took a little while for him to understand the strategy of working out which way the boats would be facing, and guessing points near previous hits but he is getting there. We are not letting him win but he is completing whole games and doing pretty well. He really enjoys it though and wants to play every night!
