I managed to  take  Joplin to Silverstone for the Young Drivers testing the other week. Even though Mercedes were banned I still managed to wangle my way in for free. We also managed to get in to the Sauber hospitality unit thanks to an old work mate (thanks Ross) where Joplin was treated to chocolate cake and goodies. As a kid, or even an adult back home I would never had dreamt of just popping up the road after work to see F1 cars going around a track and to get up close to the action. I hope Joplin looks back on this one day and realises how lucky he is.

I really enjoy taking Joplin to events like this, he talks about it for days after, so I know it excites him. Lets see where we go next.......
