Maps

Joplin is still loving maps and it is especially fun at the moment with his Nannah and Grandad on a cruise! We look at the ship's location and it's web cam every day and then plot their location in whiteboard marker on a laminated map on the wall.
They are currently in the Panama Canal and we looked that up on Google Earth to see the narrow spaces that the big ships have to pass through.

 He still loves the motorways too though! I found him chilling out with a road atlas before school the other morning!

He went on a school trip to Gaydon Motor museum the other day and I asked what he did - "We went on the M40 and then the B4451" he told me! (I looked it up - he was right!) That stayed with him more than the day at the museum is seems!
